The number of poetry submissions at the Mule is rising. We have filled the March and April issues, made plans for May, and are working on accepting poems for the June issue. Truth is, we will still have poems for July from those already submitted. So, while we are NOT closing submissions, we will say, unless you have been invited to submit (and sometimes even then) expect to wait a while to see your poems published. And at some point the Poetry Editor will take a sabbatical, and poems will just sit in the inbox for a while. All of this is good news for the Mule. It means we will be publishing quality poems for a long time.
